LFP just announced full fixtures of its Spanish La Liga competition, and “Los Galacticos II” Real Madrid will begin their La Liga campaign to Deportivo La Coruna at weekend of August 29/30, at home.

With the new stars Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Raul Albiol and probably more others… I cannot wait to see them in action, although I am not a big fan of Real Madrid, it will be interesting to see how Pellegrini make them play as team and play a good football.

La Liga 2009 2010

Reigning champions Barcelona will begin the defence of their Primera Division title  at home to Sporting Gijon. And if all matches for Barcelona and Real Madrid are as expected, it will be interesting to see how Kaka-Ronaldo duel with Messi at November 29, at Nou Camp.

Following last year fixtures in excel template, I made a few changes on layouts. The number of sheets remain the same. There are four worksheets, League Table, Fixtures and Results, Team Fixtures and Results and Team Setup.

League Table
This is the worksheet to see the competition standing table. And there is a progress chart for the top four team of the league so you can follow the performance of those top four. And there is a hyperlink below the table that will bring you to the fixtures week. You can see it a sample picture of the worksheet which already filled with dummy matches results.

Fixtures and Results
This is the place for you to fill all the matches results. I add an automatic formula to get a home stadium information from Team Setup worksheet. I also add a new “previous team meeting” column that will give you the result of the team first meeting. The formula will revealed the result on the second half of the competition where based on original schedule all teams already meet each other.

Team Fixtures
There is nothing changes in this worksheet. This is the place where you can follow your favourite’s team progress. Just select your team and all the information will be revealed automatically.

Team Setup
This is the worksheet where you have to complete if the team name and home stadium is not available. Just fill the team name here and all the formula in this file will follow your defined team name. And there is a column for deduction to correct the points of some teams because of punishment from LFP.
