Finally, Lega Calcio released its Serie A schedule for 2008/2009 season. I just can wait to see the performance of Ronaldinho, Kaka, Ibrahimovic, Francesco Totti and lot of world football stars in action in this league.
Last season, I don’t have any computer tool to see the progress of Italian league and journey of my favourite club, AC Milan. That the reason I made this excel sheet and, of course, based on my needs. And it began with making the fixtures sheet for Premiership season, because the English Football Association released the fixtures earlier than Italian.
I haven’t had time to add more features on this sheet, so basically, the sheet is similar with the English Premier League worksheet. I just changed the team and schedule based on official fixtures from www.lega-calcio.it. Guidance to use this excel spreadsheet can be read in my Premier League Fixtures section, but I will give short description about my excel spreadsheet.
This excel spreadsheet consist of four worksheets,
- League Table. Here is the place where you can see the weekly standings of all Italian football club and the chart progress of top four teams.
- Fixtures and Results. This is the fixtures worksheet where you can see the schedule and entry the prediction or correct score. And if there is a date and time change, you can manually change in this worksheet.
- Team Fixtures and Results. Here is the place where you can see your favourite club schedule, result and progress in 2008/2009 season. I plan to add team logos here, but I still have to manage my time to working on it.
- Deduction. Two years ago, AC Milan, Lazio, Fiorentina and Reggina are punished by Italian Football Association because of match fixing scandal. Each team are given some point deduction. There is no team have any point deduction now, but I prepare point deduction worksheet where you can add manually, just in case there is some point deduction punishment within this season.
That’s all the worksheet. You can download the worksheet here.
Have fun, and don’t forget to give me some feedback.
