Primera Liga Season 2011 2012 V1.00 300x231 La Liga Fixtures 2011/2012

La Liga Competition for season 2011/2012 (also called Liga BBVA or Primera Liga) will begin on 21st August 2011. This la liga fixtures 2011/2012 is using the same excel template as previous season. I change nothing except replacing relegation teams with promotion teams and replacing all 2010/2011 matches with 2011/2012 matches.

It is one month from now, but I can’t wait to see the duel between Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo for the second year. Which one is better now. I just watched Lionel Messi fail to bring his national team, Argentina, to semifinal in Copa America. But, Argentina is not Barcelona, that’s what Messi said. And the coach also is not the same.

And which coach is better in this season, Guardiola or Mourinho? And which team is better, Barcelona or Real Madrid? This season will be a critical season for Real Madrid and Jose Mourinho as its coach. They have to dethrone Barcelona from its crown, or their spending on expensive and famous players will be wasted. It is not easy to dethrone them, but it is possible. Jose Mourinho has a good record as a coach in his second year in any teams. And this is a tough challenge for him to continue his records. With these two teams superiority, the other 18 teams, I think, will only compete for 3rd position in 2011/2012 season.

For reminders or for you who just downloaded this template for the first time, this excel spreadsheet is not only giving you a schedule 2011/2012, but it is acted as a scoresheet also. And, you can also select your favorite team and follow its progress. You can read short guidance to use this spreadsheet below.

This is the standings table worksheet where you see the progress of all primera liga teams. Anytime you fill the score in Fixtures and Results worksheet, the standing table will be automatically updated.

    —Entre Sevilla y Madrid van 1-2 y 2-3 así que 3-3, empate y gana el que tenga mejor goal average general (GF). ( en este momento es el Sevilla con +30 por los +24 del Madrid) así que el Sevilla en caso de empate a puntos.

    —Si hay triple empate (Ral Madrid, Bilbao y Atl.Madrid) cuenta el que más puntos haya sacado de los enfrentamientos directos tanto de local como de visitante (- es decir cuentan los puntos del Real Madrid al Bilbao y al Atl.Madrid – 7 puntos, los de Bilbao al Atl.madrid y al Real Madrid – 6 puntos y los del Atl.Madrid a Bilbao y Rael Madrid – 4 puntos-).
    por lo tanto:

    Resultado
    Real Madrid 4 – 3 Bilbao ——-> Gana Real Madrid 3 Pts.
    Bilbao 2 – 0 Real Madrid ——-> Gana Bilbao 3 Pts.

    Bilbao 1 – 2 Atl. Madrid ——-> Gana Atl.Madrid 3 Pts.
    Atl. Madrid 0 – 2 Bilbao ——-> Gana Bilbao 3 Pts.

    Real Madrid 3 – 1 Atl. Madrid ——-> Gana Real Madrid 3 Pts.
    At.Madrid 2 – 2 Real Madrid ——-> Empatan Real Madrid y Atl.Madrid 1 Pts.

    Así quedán las posiciones:

    1-Real Madrid 7 Pts .
    2-Bilbao 6 Pts.
    3-Atl.Madrid 4 pts.

    El fixture está casi perfecto solo tiene un pequeño error en la clasificación, si dos equipos empatan a puntos el orden de la clasificación es la siguiente entre los enfrentamientos directos (ida y vuelta), cosa que no se contempla. Por ejemplo:

    -Sevilla 3-2 Real Madrid (En el Pizjuán) -Real Madrid 2-1 Sevilla (En el Bernabéu)
    Quedan empatados 4-4. (Pero es primero el Madrid porque marcó un gol más de visitante), Cosa que no se cumple en el fixture 2011-2012.

    -Sevilla 3-2 Real Madrid (En el Pizjuán) -Real Madrid 3-2 Sevilla (En el Bernabéu)
    Si Real Madrid y Sevilla acabarán empatados 5-5. Ninguno saca el gol doble de visitante, la posición se decidiría por el “Gol Average” general (GF), un aspecto que tienen con mejores números los sevillista (+27 en lugar de +21 de los blancos). Cosa que no se cumple en el fixture 2011-2012.

    Cómo deshacer un triple o cuádruple empate:
    En esta ocasión, el triple empate puede darse en el liderato entre Real Madrid, Barça y Sevilla. Hechas las cuentas, la Liga sería de los blancos.

    -Real Madrid 2-0 Barcelona -Barcelona 3-3 Real Madrid
    -Sevilla 2-1 Real Madrid -Real Madrid 3-2 Sevilla
    -Barcelona 3-1 Sevilla -Sevilla 2-1 Barcelona

    Empate a 74 puntos entre Real Madrid, Barcelona y Sevilla.

    7 puntos: Real Madrid (2 victorias, 1 empate y 1 derrota)
    6 puntos: Sevilla (2 victorias y 2 derrotas)
    4 puntos: Barcelona (1 victoria, 1 empate y 2 derrotas)

    Cuádruple empate a 37 puntos entre Real Sociedad, Celta, Betis y Athletic.
    Se salvarían Real Sociedad y Betis y descenderían Athletic y Celta:

    -Betis 3-0 Athletic -Athletic 1-2 Betis
    -Athletic 1-1 Real Sociedad -Real Sociedad 0-2 Athletic
    -Real Sociedad 0-0 Betis -Betis 0-1 Real Sociedad
    -Betis 1-0 Celta -Celta 2-1 Betis
    -Athletic 0-1 Celta -Celta 1-1 Athletic
    -Celta 0-0 Real Sociedad -Real Sociedad 3-1 Celta

    10 puntos: Betis (3 victorias, 1 empate y 2 derrotas)
    9 puntos: Real Sociedad (2 victorias, 3 empates y 1 derrota)
    8 puntos: Celta (2 victorias, 2 empates y 2 derrotas)
    5 puntos: Athletic (1 victoria, 2 empates y 3 derrotas)

    El Cuádruple empate no cumple en esté fixture 2011-2012.

    Felicitaciones!
    Estoy convencido de que lo corregirá el fixture Bien vale el esfuerzo!
    De nuevo gracias por tu aporte
    Winny.

    This spreadsheet is flawed. Spanish league goes by head to head before goal difference and this doesnt take that factor in to account
