Completing my calendar templates that are created with monthly and yearly layouts, this weekly calendar is a calendar with weekly layout. And different than monthly calendar that only can have maximum 3 events to be displayed automatically based on event list, this weekly calendar can display until maximum 20 events. So, you can type your events in event list column and see them in your calendar based on your setup.
There are two worksheets in this template, the first one is the Event and holidays worksheet where you can put your events and customize your holidays. On the event list, just type your event time and description and you don’t have to sort the event based on your dates. Because the formula in other worksheet will find all the corresponding dates in the list to be displayed.

Following my previous post and excel tool to calculate BMR, this is a calorie intake calculator that will calculate how many calories you need when you do several activities, from light activities until heavy activities. For example, if you are an athlete, you will need more calorie to keep you in good shape condition.
You can use this calculation as your side reference, although the numbers used in calculation are came from statistic measurement. There is also a BMR calculation in the spreadsheet as your minimum daily calorie need reference.

Basal metabolic rate or BMR, is the amount of energy expended while at rest in a neutrally temperate environment, in the post-absorptive state (meaning that the digestive system is inactive, which requires about twelve hours of fasting in humans). This is a definition that you can easily find in internet or from wikipedia. The release of energy in this condition is sufficient only for the functioning of the people vital organs, such as the heart, lungs, brain, liver, kidneys, sex organs, muscles and skin. People BMR is usually influenced by a number of factors, including age, weight, height, gender, environmental temperature, dieting, and exercise habits.
Because of the increased activity of cells undergoing division, the younger the person, the higher (faster) the metabolism. And the taller and heavier a person is, the faster their metabolism. Because of the greater percentage of lean muscle tissue in the male body, men generally have a 10-15% faster BMR than women. And when you go on restrictive, traditional diets, your BMR can drop by as much as 20%. People living in tropical or very cold environments generally have BMR’s 5-20% higher than those living in more temperate climates. In general, depending on the intensity and duration, consistent exercise can also increase your BMR.
