Almost all analysts said that Inter Milan will continue their success. But they have to be careful with AS Roma, which always become a strong challenger for the past two year, and AC Milan, where it has a new bright coach, Massimiliano Allegri. And do not underestimate Juventus and of course Sampdoria which take the fourth Champions League spot in last season.

My Italian Serie A Fixtures 2010/2011 template has the same template with the previous version. I haven’t had time to put any new features or modification. I am just replace the relegation team with the promotion team and replace all 2009/2010 schedules with 2010/2011 schedules.

Barcelona remains the same team. So, this coach-player chemistry is already strong enough for defending their 2009/2010 title. And Jose Mourinho is the best option for Real Madrid to dethrone Barcelona from their reign. And it will be interesting to see the outcome of Barcelona vs Real Madrid matches on 28 November 2010 and 17 April 2011 which probably will decide their title fate.

I don’t change or add new feature in this Eredivisie Schedule. It is the same as the previous version for season 2009/2010. I just change the relegation team with the promoted team and replace the old schedule with the new schedule.

When all the group matches are finished and the qualified teams are revealed, you can put the winner and the runner up of each group on corresponding boxes in Knock Out worksheet.

You can customize the layout of this spreadsheet to suit your taste. Eventhough there is no automatic score calculation, I still leave the language translation (only for country name) and timezone conversion feature in this spreadsheet. So, you can adjust it into your own language and timezone. If you think that the country translation or timezone is incorrect, just correct it by going to the language and timezone worksheets. You have to unhide and unprotect them first before you can change it.

You can download the file below to start trying and customize the World Cup 2010 Wall Chart. Since this is just a passive schedule, you can directly correct any mistakes if you found one.

Some doctors believe that there is a biorythm cycle that affect human performance, where it started from your birth. They divided the cycle into three categories, i.e physical which cycling every 23 days, emotional which cycling every 28 days and intellectual cycle which cycling every 33 days. And based on it, there will be an out-of-form performance are shown by any football players in this one month world cup 2010 tournament.

But, as also the doctors said, you can only use it as a side reference, because there are many other factors that can affect people performance or any football players performance in this World Cup. Don’t trust it 100% especially when you are supporting your favorite teams :).

Instead of just calculating one single player, this calculator will calculate teams biorythm based on biorythm calculation off all players in one team who played in any matches. Just select the country name and the playing date and you can see those teams biorythm calculation. And you can select or deselect the status of the players to include or exclude them in teams calculation.

And there is a green dot that will appear next to the teams biorythm parameter, just to show you that one team is better from the other on that parameter. I haven’t complete all the data of the players, so you can continue to complete it for your own data.

There are many types of prediction games or office pools can be made based on custom rules for this 2010 FIFA World Cup Football Tournament in South Africa. I made one that you can modify, tweak or develop based on your own rules. I don’t put any password in those worksheets so you can learn and modify it easily.

I created an office pool that can accommodate until 25 players with 3 different rules with 18 point values. You can adjust those point values. And if you think you want to eliminate existing rules or add new rules you can follow the formula I created to modify it. And basically this is a rule that I used with my friends for every World Cup or European Cup tournament.

I separated those 25 players into 25 different worksheets, so you can make this excel spreadsheet as a sharing workbook. I will explain how to share this workbook later… or you can just find it the your Microsoft Excel help menu.

To summarize those 25 player worksheets, I created two worksheets, Player Scoreboard worksheet and Player Leaderboard worksheet. Player scoreboard worksheet is the place where you can adjust the game point values and the place to see each player’s point in every match. Player Leaderboard is the place where all player’s points will be ranked.

These are steps to use this spreadsheet :
1. Go to Player Scoreboard worksheet and set the point value
I define three rules for getting points in this pool game where any players can get points if
- they predict correctly match and score result
- they predict correctly match and score different result
- they predict correctly match result only

The score for those correct prediction are different and you can change it in in the point system box in Player Scoreboard worksheet.

I also define different points value in group and knock out stages. So, every player will still have a chance to win the game eventhough they join in the middle of the game or they always predict incorrectly in group stages.

There is a player scoreboard where you can see all player’s scores. You don’t have to do anything here except clicking on the player column to go directly to player worksheets.

2. Go to Player Worksheets and define player name
Put your name on the top row of the player 1 - 25 worksheets and the name will be automatically appeared in Player Scoreboard and Leaderboard worksheets.

You can start the game after this step.

There are several options to make this game is easily played.

First, you can print the player worksheets and any player just put their prediction in their sheets. And you can appoint yourself or someone to collect all the prediction information and put it in the player worksheets.

Second, You can share this spreadsheet using the sharing menu in your microsoft excel program. But, it will only work if your computers are connected each other. Put this spreadsheet in one computer or a server which strong enough to be accessed by 25 players at the same time.

I quoted how to share a workbook from microsoft excel help menu:
- On the Tools menu, click Share Workbook, and then click the Editing tab.
- Select the Allow changes by more than one user at the same time check box, and then click OK.
-When prompted, save the workbook.
-On the File menu, click Save As, and then save the workbook on a network location accessible to the intended users. Use a shared network folder, not a Web server.

In the player worksheets, there are two big boxes. The left box is your prediction box where you can put your score prediction. The right box is the real result box where the match will be appeared once you fill the result in tournament worksheet.

You can also see the point you earned on the top side of the right box everytime the real result is typed.

There is two shortcut link on top of its player worksheets, so you can jump directly to player scoreboard worksheet to see points of any players or jump directly to player leaderboard worksheet to see your rank or your position against other players.

And there is a language translation and timezone conversion available where you can change your country language and timezone before you start the game. Just go to the tournament worksheet and change it from the top left column on that worksheet.

Feel free to try and test this worksheets. It will be more easier to understand how to use it if you simulated your pool prediction.

And what about Jenson Button ? He will defend his title with McLaren team alongside Lewis Hamilton, where this team will have British drivers to chase another F1 championship trophy. So, two world champions within one team ? It will be exciting to see whether this Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button combination will be better than Lewis Hamilton - Fernando Alonso combination two years ago.

So, will it be Germany vs England for F1 Championship this year? I don’t so. Ferrari is mature now. They have focused on the development or 2010 car since last year. They don’t want to repeat the same mistakes by focusing on F1 championship in 2008 where it cost them year 2009. So far, the development is running toward the right direction where Ferrari cars is ruling this 2010 practice session.

With Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa behind the wheel, Ferrari looks like a very strong contender this year. And don’t forget Redbull. They are one of two teams that surprise all world in 2009 season by delivering Sebastian Vettel as F1 2009 season runner up.

And it is very pity that Kimi Raikkonen left this 2010 season when all F1 world champions in this decade are still racing each other. I hope that he will join 2011 season. And there is a rumour that he will be back behind Redbull wheel next year.

New teams and new rules are things that will make this 2010 season is different than previous seasons. There are for teams that have approval to join this 2010 season. Those are Virgin, Lotus, Campos and US. But only Virgin, Lotus and Campos that will participate in 2010 season. US has asked the F1 council permission to not participate in this season. Campos also change its name into Hispania Racing Team, which followed the name of their new investor.

The other significant change that has been made is the scoring system. Now, the winner of any F1 races will get 25 points. And the top 10 drivers will get points instead of 8 drivers last year.

And also you won’t see any dramas that occasionally happened when F1 cars are refuelling in pitstop. F1 council has banned any refuelling during races.

New teams, new drivers, new scoring points system have made me to make major changes in my F1 spreadsheet. Basically this spreadsheet is finished about a month ago, before my World Cup 2010 spreadsheet. But, I delayed the posting because I am waiting the final statement from FIA regarding the new rules, teams, and drivers, where they just released it less than two weeks before the first race in Sakhir, Bahrain.

There is no major changes in my spreadsheet layout. I just extended the “Race Result” worksheet to accommodate the top ten drivers who will get points because the previous spreadsheet only can accommodate the top eight drivers.

In “Team and Driver Standings” worksheet, I add a new columns which will show you driver nationality flags and standings movement. The “Schedules and Podium Results” and “Team and Driver” worksheets are remain the same with the previous 2009 F1 worksheets.
