2017/2018 and 2016/2017 School Calendar Templates




As usual, around this time every year, you can download and use the latest school calendar templates. There several models of those calendar templates you can download for free.

You can adjust this calendar to meet your need in a single spreadsheet only now. You don’t have to choose specific spreadsheets from 4 spreadsheets starting from July or August. Now, you can set it up within a single spreadsheet. Months and Dates are automatically adjusted based on your setup choices. It should eliminates date placement error that sometimes occurred because of manual placement.

The first three calendars are school calendar templates with similar layouts with previous models, while the next threes have new layouts and functions which I think should suit your needs on mapping your school events and distribute it as your official ones.

Here are short description of each calendars and its new functions, so you can use it properly.

This setting applied to all free models below :

> To set your calendar to start from a specific month, you can select July, August and September in Starting Month box.
> To set your calendar to have 12 or 13 months period, you can select it from Number of Months box
> To set your calendar to start its day from Sunday or Monday, you can select it from Starting Day box

Each boxes, that you can see in picture above, are placed at the right side of each calendars, and they might have different colors.

Model 1 : One page landscape calendar, event description in separate worksheet, fixed and consecutive dates in separate tables

2016/2017 School Calendar Model 1 - One page landscape calendar

Steps to mark the dates in the calendars are remain the same with previous version. Just type fixed and consecutive dates in respective tables. Fixed tables are tables that you can only put one date to be marked inside the calendar, while consecutive dates tables are tables that you can mark dates in calendar sequentially by typing the start and end dates of dates period you want to be marked. There are 3 tables for fixed dates and 3 tables for consecutive dates tables where all of them won’t have similar colors.

Model 2 : One page portrait calendar, event description in the middle of calendar within the same page, fixed and consecutive dates in separate tables

2016/2017 School Calendar Model 2

Different from model 1, this model only has one fixed dates table and one consecutive dates table, put in middle of the calendar. To differentiate dates colors, you must put color codes next to respective event dates.

Model 3 : One page linear calendar, event description at the bottom of calendar within the same page, fixed and consecutive dates in separate tables

Steps to mark dates in the calendar are the same with model 1.

Model 5 : One page landscape calendar, event description at the right side of calendar within the same page, fixed and consecutive dates within the same table

2016 2017 School Calendar Model 5 - Combined Dates
This is one of new models released this year. In this model, fixed and consecutive dates are within the same table. It should help you to order and group dates based on quarter or half school period. To mark dates, you must type the dates and select the month, these part will be seen when the calendar is printed, and after that you must set the year and its color codes next to respective events. There parts are put outside the calendar so you have options to hide it or not show it when you print the calendar.

Model 7 : One page linear calendar, event description at the bottom of calendar within the same page, fixed and consecutive dates within the same table, divided by months

2016/2017 School Calendar Model 7 - Combined Dates
How to put color markers is the same with model 5, except those table already grouped in separate months. You just need to put dates, description and its color codes. There are options to hide color codes to help you hide it when you print the calendar.

Model 11 : One page portrait calendar, months are split into two parts, event description at the left and right side of each calendar parts within the same page, fixed and consecutive dates within the same table

Since this one has event tables next to month names, all you need to colorize the dates is to type the dates in respective month tables.

All free models are protected. And starting this year, I separated school and year calendar templates.
